Kevin is a pharmacist who has worked globally in senior positions for over 15 years to facilitate access to essential medicines. On the supply side, with health care professionals, international NGOs and UN agencies, Kevin worked to optimise access by addressing regulatory and intellectual property issues for HIV, TB and neglected diseases. On the demand side, Kevin led the development of community-led, evidence-based advocacy programmes at the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+) to fight stigma and discrimination, human rights abuses and to enhance sexual and human rights of people living with HIV.
Kevin brings a strong technical methodology to his strategic approach to optimising bridges between health systems and the community. A tireless proponent of people-centred care, Kevin understands that successful chronic care outcomes are only possible when interventions actively integrate patients in decision-making and programme implementation.
I enjoy working with ASAP because it is one of the few organisations that approaches health solutions with community at the centre of evidenced-based outcomes.
